In the last two and a half years the SUPER-G Consortium kept up the good work, with several online meetings, including the annual ones. But surely, we were missing to meet, to discuss in-person and to enjoy the networking that these meetings can provide. So, two weeks ago, from the 7th to the 9th of June, we were finally able to organize and hybrid meeting, in Bled, Slovenia, with 24 participants in person and 40 joining online.
It was a very fruitful meeting, where the last work of the different Work Packages was presented, with a lot to discuss, specially in the WP4 session, that can lead to a broader discussion about the impact of Permanent Grasslands in society, with different stakeholders. For the lucky partners that could travel to Bled, there were field trips to different farms around the Triglav National Park, a fantastic opportunity to shoot lovely images from the Permanent grasslands in the Alpine region.
Bled and its surroundings were the perfect setting for this meeting and the hybrid solution found allowed the best of both worlds: face-to-face and online, ensuring that all partners and Advisory Board members participated, to facilitate the organisation of the coming months and the success of SUPER-G. Which will continue next week, with 17 presentations at the EGF conference in Caen, France. Stay tuned!
