Back in September, The SUPER-G Northern England farm network held a webinar with the UK Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) Beef and Lamb and ADAS. During the webinar we heard from James Drummond from Lemmington Hill Head farm in Northumberland, who has set up a grass-herb trial with ADAS to look at sward and livestock performance. The webinar also covered how to establish multi-species swards and their economic and environmental benefits; and also featured Sam Chesney, a beef farmer in Northern Ireland, who is also experimenting with multi species swards.
